Bubble pop spray
Remove air bubbles from your epoxy project or create amazing effects by using this spray. The Pourpoxy effect spray is the all-round epoxy aid as it can be used for many different purposes. Read all about it in the description below!
Bubble Pop Transparent Casting
For a transparent casting, this isopropyl alcohol is perfect for removing air bubbles from your casting. The sprayer ensures that the alcohol is well distributed and you can spray a large surface area. By using the Pourpoxy Bubble Pop spray, your result will be even more beautiful. The content of the spray lowers the surface tension of the epoxy, making it easier for bubbles to pop! It only removes the bubbles on the surface, not the bubbles deep inside the epoxy. For this, you can use a vacuum machine to cast bubble-free.
Effect Spray Resin Art
When creating epoxy art, you can choose to use this effect spray to make our Metallic pigments drift apart. This creates cool and unique effects. Use a spray can with paint on the epoxy, then give it one spray of this effect spray and watch the paint scatter, creating enormous depth.
Cleaning and Maintaining Your Materials
This spray is ideal for removing uncured epoxy from your tools, degreasing your casting surface, or cleaning your silicone molds.
Why use this de-airing spray? (NO MORE TORCH NEEDED!)
When casting epoxy resin in transparent form, bubbles form during mixing. You can’t prevent these air bubbles, but you can remedy them! Often a gas torch is used, which can lead to undesirable results in your epoxy resin.
Disadvantages of a gas torch:
- Epoxy can burn
- Epoxy turning yellow due to high temperature (or yellow flame)
- The top layer curing faster, which can cause cracking
- Becoming exothermic, causing the epoxy to boil
- Damaging silicone molds
How to use the Pourpoxy Bubble Pop?
During casting, you’ll see air bubbles forming on the surface. Spray once over the surface and you’ll see the air bubbles disappear. If more air bubbles form after some time, spray again to remove these as well. Don’t spray too much on the epoxy resin as this can disturb the final result!
Advantages of Bubble Pop/Effect spray:
- Quick and direct removal of air bubbles.
- Good disinfectant.
- Creates cool effects in combination with metallic pigments.
- Good cleaner for silicone molds.
- Can be used with any epoxy resin.
- Degreasing your casting surface before pouring.
- Cleaning epoxy residues that have not yet cured.
Disadvantages of Bubble Pop/Effect spray:
- Does not remove air bubbles inside the epoxy resin.
- Not suitable for spraying too much over the surface as this causes surface disturbance.
